About Dr. Oldenburg
Dr. Oldenburg is a Vicksburg native who graduated from Warren Central in 2013. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Arkansas in 2017. In 2018, Dr. Oldenburg earned a Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She graduated from UMMC School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May of 2022. During her time in dental school, Dr. Oldenburg served as class representative and chapter president of the American Student Dental Association. She also served as a student board member for the Mississippi Dental Association. During her 4th year of school, Dr. Oldenburg was awarded the American College of Dentists Outstanding Leadership Award, the ASDA Excellence Award, the Trailblazer Award, and clinical department awards in prosthodontics, periodontics, and endodontics.
Dr. Oldenburg is a member of the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, and Vicksburg Kiwanis Club.
She is married to her high school sweetheart, Kade Oldenburg. Dr. Oldenburg and Kade enjoy traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with their goldendoodle (Brooks). They are members of Triumph Church in Vicksburg and have both served in various roles within the church.
Dr. Oldenburg is excited to join the Oldenburg Family Dentistry team and have the opportunity to serve her hometown.
About Dr. Chaney
Dr. Chaney grew up in Vicksburg, MS. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Mississippi and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. Dr. Chaney is married, and their family includes three daughters, Lacey, Logan, and Liza Kate. He is a deacon and a Sunday School teacher, and he and enjoys singing in the choir at First Baptist Church. He serves the Lord by volunteering at a local mission clinic and participating in overseas mission trips. Dr. Chaney enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, hunting, and fishing in his free time, as well as spending time with his family, which now includes six adorable grandchildren.
Ashley Boyte, RDH
Ashley has been a registered dental hygienist for Dr. Chaney since 2003. She received her BS in Dental Hygiene in 2001 from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Whether she is teaching young children how to brush properly or educating patients with periodontal problems, she is always giving 100% and the patients leave with a better knowledge and ability to keep their teeth for a lifetime. Ashley is married and has one son. When she is able to find free time, Ashley enjoys walking outdoors.
Jenny Turner, RDH
Jenny received her BS in Dental Hygiene in 1995 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. With 25 years of dental hygiene experience of which 15 years here with Chaney Family Dental, Jenny enjoys her role as a Dental Hygienist and her caring personality makes her patients feel at ease when they are in our office. Jenny has two daughters and her favorite pastime is walking outdoors.
Debra Hearn
(accounts manager)
Debra has been a part of our team since 2004. She is a Vicksburg native and makes everyone feel welcomed as she greets them at the front desk. Our office keeps running smoothly because of her organizational skills, and since she is extremely knowledgeable about dental insurance, she is able to help our patients find cost-effective means for achieving their necessary dental needs. Debra is widowed, and her hobbies include reading, gardening, and junk shopping.
Tiffany Jamison, RDH
Tiffany received her BS in Dental Hygiene from the MS Medical Center in 2004. She has been a registered hygienist for over 16 years. She is married and has two sons and a daughter, who keep her busy with their sports activities. Her family belongs to Woodlawn Baptist Church. Tiffany is great amazing with small children, and her beautiful smile makes everyone feel special.
Alicia Hedrick
(dental assistant)
Alicia has been dental assisting for nearly 30 years. She is married to Michael Hedrick, and they have four children between the two of them. Alicia enjoys knitting, reading, baking, and gardening. Our patients love her for her sweet spirit and compassionate concern for others.
Mercedes Thomas (dental assistant)
Mercedes is a graduate of Hinds Community College dental assisting program. Mercedes joined Dr. Chaney’s office in 2019. She enjoys her role as an assistant and makes each patient feel comfortable. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family in her free time.
Tiffany Workman (front office)
Tiffany W. grew up in Florence, MS. After graduating high school, she spent 8 years in the Army as a Military Police Officer. She has been a part of the dental field since 2013 when she started out as a dental assistant. Now, she is a key part of our front office team as our Insurance and Treatment Coordinator.
She has three amazing children: Anne Marie, Asher, and Evelyn, and a dog named Zeus. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to music, and cooking
